The Blues Series amplifiers were originally launched in 1993 in response to increasing player demand for 1950's Fender Tweed amps. A few years later, the popular Blues Deluxe evolved into the Hot Rod Deluxe, with it's re-voiced preamp, "more drive" channel and black/silver cosmetic treatment. The Hot Rod version is still hugely popular today, but for back-to-basics players who prefer the warm tone of a Tweed amp, the Blues Deluxe Reissue is a great choice. It's the perfect size and output for club gigs and weekend jams.
The Blues Deluxe Reissue has a unique circuitry and an incredibly warm sound which many guitarists have longed for since the changeover to the Hot Rod range. The original Tweed amps were known for their ability to produce exquisite overdrive tones and clean, bright sounds. The Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue restores the cherished tone and appearance which many guitarists can recall from the early 90s.
The Blues Deluxe Reissue sounds incredibly clean and has a consistent tone thanks to the efficient 6L6 Groove Tubes circuitry inside the amp. The amp has 40 watts of power which is pumped through a single 12 inch Special Design Eminence speaker to give you a very authentic Fender sound.
The amp has two channels (normal with bright switch, and drive) with a shared 3-band EQ, presence and level controls, and these channels enable you to experiment with genres such as blues, rock and country. The controls are placed at the top of the amp in a chrome panel for easy accessibility and are straightforward to adjust.
The Blues Deluxe Reissue also features Fender spring reverb, effects loop and a two-button channel footswitch so you can alter your sound output to suit your specific playing needs.
Like the original Tweed amps from the early 90s, the Blues Deluxe Reissue has real tweed cloth covering which gives the amp an aged appearance. The controls have chicken head pointer knobs with a chrome panel background which complements the overall look of this amp.
The Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue Amp packs in 40 watts of pure power and gives new life to the legendary amps which first came about in the early 90s.
