The Alesis TransActive Drummer is a complete, active speaker system designed for the electronic drummer, a powerful, active two-way wedge monitor speaker with two sets of inputs, stereo outputs, and a dock for iPod. The Alesis Transactive Drummer is perfect for practicing alone or playing with a band.
Because it's a full-range amplifier, the TransActive Drummer is also great for use with other instruments such as keyboards. Use the Alesis Transactive Drummer speaker for practice, amplification at a gig, or as a foldback monitor wedge.
Transporting the Alesis TransActive Drummer amplifier system is easy because it has handles recessed into the left and right sides. A switchable power supply works anywhere in the world on all voltages.
The TransActive Drummer enables you to connect your electronic drum set, as well as an aux source such as a metronome or sequencer. The iPod dock enables you to mix and play along with your music. Link two Alesis TransActive Drummers together with a 1/4-inch TRS cable for stereo with double the inputs and double the output power. The Transactive Drummer amp also has line-level 1/4-inch stereo outputs so you can connect it to a PA system or record your sessions.
The Alesis Transactive Drummer front panel contains volume, three-band EQ, level control for iPod, and a 1/4-inch headphone jack. When connected, headphones mute the speaker for late-night jamming without bothering the neighbors.
The Alesis TransActive Drummer has a 10-inch woofer with a frequency response that extends down below most kick drums, and a 1-inch tweeter that makes cymbal sounds sparkle. The high efficiency Class-D switching amplifier provides 50-Watts RMS output power. Link two Alesis TransActive Drummers practice amplifier together for stereo performance, with 100-watt output a system that's ready to take on any guitarist's rig.
