What’s new with the Arturia MINIBRUTE 2?

A top selling favourite amongst budget synthesizers, the MiniBrute is back and this time it is semi-modular.

Already own a MiniBrute or was thinking of buying one? You may want to wait for the MiniBrute 2.
Here are the updates we know about so far…

Improved Playability
The MiniBrute 2 incorporates the same luxurious keyboard action as the MatrixBrute and this time offers aftertouch which can be routed through the modulation matrix for hours of fun and confusion!

2nd Oscillator
This time there is a second oscillator (sine, saw and square) that can be fine tuned and mixed. Similar to the subosc on the original MiniBrute but with more tweak-ability.

Arpeggiator & Step Sequencer
So we’ve had the MiniBrute (with Arpeggiator) and MiniBrute SE (with step sequencer) already. The MiniBrute 2 boasts both Arpeggiator and improved step sequencer (taken from Arturia Keystep).

Modulation Patch Bay
The biggest change to the MiniBrute is the added CV gate/patch matrix that allows the MiniBrute 2 to be easily incorporated into a modular setup or the internal signal to be reworked for endless possibilities.

Arturia Link Feature
Easily connect your modular MiniBrute to a RackBrute using the Arturia Link.

The original MiniBrute has been a top seller at Sound Affects Music and we cannot wait to get our hands on this new version.

There has been no release date announced yet but the MiniBrute is expected to be around £575.
A countdown on the Arturia website suggests that we could have additional new products to look forward to.
